This past week was an emotional rollercoaster ride for me.
My sister Linda went into the hospital Tuesday and died Thursday.
She has been dealing with Lupus for the last 10 years.
She just had her 61st birthday on the 11th of the this month. She was on 61.
To young to die. Collene and I were the last of the family to talk to her on Tuesday.
She was put into a coma with thoughts that it would help her body to heal faster.
She never came out of it. Most of my brother's and sister's were there when she died. But all
of us were there for the funeral. This was a time for some of the cousins to get caught up and have a laugh or two.
Joan was not able to be here for the funeral. She is still on her mission.
Once there was 7, now there is 6.

Peggy, myself and Penny.

I haven't figured out all there is to know about blogging. I started a post a long time ago and just finished it tonight. I posted it and couldn't find where it went! I kept going down through all of my old post and finally found it. I had no idea that it would post according to the date I first wrote it. So if you want to read it, you will have to go back quite a ways. :)
This past week my sister's and I got together for our bi-annual sleep over. This year we went to Island Park and stayed in a cabin owned by a friend of mine that comes into the deli all the time. This is a picture of the outside of the cabin.

This is the third time we have gone into Yellowstone Park. Each time we go to different parts of the park. This year we went to the grand canyon of Yellowstone Park. It was beautiful! There are two waterfalls.

This is a picture of the view looking down the side. It is a long way down.

We were there when the fire started. They say it started by lightening. The sky was so blue....where did the lightning come from?

We went to the fishing bridge. I was trying to see the fish just under the bridge.

Yellowstone Lake was beautiful. The water was not even cold.

We asked a kind man to take our picture. He didn't get a close picture...oh well.

Another picture of Yellowstone lake.

This was a smaller lake we saw on our way to Yellowstone Lake. It was so pretty and blue.

The air was so crisp and the sky so blue that the gysers really showed up.

This is Joy standing in front of the fireplace.

Bonnie was not able to go with us, so we went over to her home before we headed north. Joan is the other sister who couldn't make it this year. She and her husband, Jim, are on a mission. They will be home in December.

I am so grateful that I have 6 sister's and that we are so close. We have such a good time when we get together. Next spring we will be in Utah. Hopefully all 7 of us can make it!

Here are some pictures from the Eugene Andrews Reunion (EAR). I have more pictures but I am having problems posting them. As soon as the problem is fixed I will post them. We had a good time. It was fun to see people we haven't seen in a while. Ardery and I are in charge of it next year. We are thinking Table Rock Camp Ground. It's more like camping than R.V.ing. If any of my children have any in-put, let me know.

ANA Reunion 2009
Conner had played so hard all day and was soooo dirty.
I tried to get a pic. of him but he didn't want me to do it.
Right by our camp was a stream. It was perfect for the kids
to play in.

Dad and Jeremy was trying to re-route the steam .

Heather brought up a game that involved a water balloon and a time in it.
The kids had fun seeing who would get wet when the timer went off.

Tymber took time to play with Tessa on Hunter's toy 4-wheeler.

The older kids took turns taking the children for rides.
Andy had his 2 4 wheelers and Jake had his Dad's 4-wheeler there.

This year we started a tradition of playing "ladder ball".
Jennifer is making a roving trophy.
This year the winner is:
"JORDAN"

This pic is soooo funny.
Conner was eating a hotdog and bit his thumb.
It broke the skin. He had to take a pic. of the bandaid after he stopped crying.

No wonder Lily is so big.
She had to eat what everyone else was eating.
Here she is eating Heather's breakfast burrito.

Grandpa had to get as much time with the grandkids as he could.
He had to leave saturday night because he had to work sunday morning.

Tessa will always give you a smile for the camera :)

Ayla loves to play in the fire.

Friday night Jeremy made dutch oven ribs and baked beans and cobbler,
YUMMY!!!!!!!!

Hunter was always playing with his cousins and giving kisses to the babies.
so cute!!!!

Tymber playing on the 4 wheeler
She is getting so big.

Just relaxing in camp.

Thanks kids for a fun weekend.
