So this past week was not the norm for me. As soon as I got to work on Monday I had a message to call my niece, June. Her father , Dean, had pasted away on Saturday. Dean was married to my sister Bonnie. June wanted Cindie and I to sing at Dean's funeral. Cindie and Darrel had planned to come up that weekend anyway so we just had to get Cindie here a few days early. I made some phone calls and this is how it went. Adell, Darrel's niece who is living with them right now, said that she could take Cindie to Jennifer's home in Clearfield. Well they got away later than they hoped. So instead of being at Jenn's at 4:30 it was more like 5. As soon as I left work at 4 I called to let them know where I was and what time I would meet them at Malad. (Which was to be at 5:30). I arrived at Malad on time and called to see where they were. They were at Willard Bay. So I said ok....I will meet you at Plymonth instead. I got to Plymouth and called them. They were just coming around the mountain. By this time I knew we would not make it back to Idaho Falls in time for the viewing. We still needed to go through the music with Lynn, who was playing for us. Ayla was hungry and so was Jenn and Cindie, so we ate at the Subway there at Plymouth. Around 8:30 we finally made it to Lynn's home to practice. During this time Jeremy had called twice to see if we were coming to the viewing. I guess June was worried we weren't going to make it at all. The next day went really well. It was a nice service. It really makes you stop and think about your life and if you had an influence on anyone. Whether good or bad. Are anyone of us ready to meet our maker? Friday is a day a won't forget anytime soon or maybe I did and didn't know about it. LOL Let me explain:) Each morning while I am eating breakfast I take my vitamins and Metformin. Well I guess I was to busy talking with Cindie that I didn't realize that I had grabed the wrong pill. I took a sleeping pill instead of my metformin. Cindie said that I told her I just needed to lay down for a few minutes and than I would be ready to go. I stumbled into the living room and was out on the couch. I remember none of this. I had two phone conversations that I really don't remember much about. (Sorry Jennifer). On my way to work, I almost ran a red light. Cindie went to work with me just to make sure I made it ok. It's a good thing that it was a short day for me. So let this be a lesson to everyone....LOOK AT YOUR PILLS BEFORE YOU TAKE THEM:). I am a believer now about the stories people tell about Ambeion. Darrel wasn't able to come up until Friday night after he got off work. That night Dalan and Gina came over and we played cards. For the first time in his life.....Darrel won at Phase 10. Saturday the four of us went to the Musium of Idaho. They had old cars and motorcycles and bikes there. It was interesting and fun. Darrel got a new camera so he was all over taking pic's. I took a few with mine but the batteries were dieing. We then went to lunch and than to that antique place out on the Ririe Highway. That was great fun. Sooooo much to see and want :). While we were there Heather called and wanted to know if we could watch Hunter while they went to the movies for her birthday. So we picked Hunter up and kept him all night. He is so much fun. Sunday we had a big birthday party for Tymber, Heather and Cindie. It was nice to have Cindie here for her birthday, it was Sunday. We had pizza and played the wii. During all of this I called Taunya to tell her happy birthday as well. It would have been fun to have them with us to celebrate all the birthdays. The only one left for this month is Hunter. He will be 2 on the 30th. I'm hoping Feb. will be quieter but I'm not holding my breath.

This weekend we went to Jennifer and Jordan's home in Utah. They had Lily blessed on Sunday. We rode down with Andy and Nelli of Friday. It was fun spending time with the kids and having a good talk, without the T.V. getting in the way :) The ride was not as long as it normally feels. The grandkids are good intertainment. Heather and Jeremy made a one day trip of it. Jake had to work so Jeremy rode with Heather and Hunter. Saturday, Jenn and I took Lily to get pic's taken. Oh my gosh......it took forever. But the pic's turned out really good. Here are a few of the pic's I took from the weekend, until my camera died. Hopefully Jenn puts some pic's on her blog...hint hint :) I sure missed having all my children there. It's so hard when they live so far away. Jason and Keeley...you were missed!
Cheers to 2009....Thanks Dalan and Gina for another fun New Years Eve Party!!

"Belated Merry Christmas to Friends and Loved Ones"
The month of December went by in a blur. Parties, shopping and "work". Yes, that four letter word we all love. I was busy at work with caterings and parties. I'm glad for that reason alone to have the holiday's over. I normally have all my shopping done by December but not this year. Christmas was different for us this year. In all our married life, this is the first time we didn't have kids home Christmas morning to open gifts. It was really strange. I thought we might actually get to sleep in...not!! Ardery was up at 6:45. He is a kid after all :). I did get a new camera, so when I learn to use it, I will post pic's. Once again we had lots and lots of food to eat for Christmas dinner. Andy wanted turkey and Jake wanted ham.....so we had both! Grandpa and Grandma Andrews came over for dinner. It's good to have so much family around this time of year. We really did miss seeing Jason, Jennifer and Keeley this Christmas. When half your family is missing, you really notice it. I love it when all the kids are home. So.....till next time, have a safe and happy new year!!!!!!

Where do I begin? The month of November went by so quickly that I can't remember it. The last I remember was waiting on pins and needles for Andy to call to let me know that Tessa Mae had been born. I was eating lunch at work when he called. Everyone at work knew I was waiting for this call. My mind was all over the place. I had a hard time focusing. So when I finally got the call, I just couldn't stay at work. A co-worker said she would cover for me, so off to the hospital I went (after I picked up Ardery). What a joy!!!! There is nothing like a new baby. Except------another baby. Yes, 4 days later I got a call at 6:30 in the morning from Jennifer. So off to Utah I went. There we waited 12 hours for Lily May to be born. Once again the joy of being a grandmother. The last part of that week I brought Jenn and the girls (Ayla and Lily) home with me. It was so much fun having the house full of noise again. And believe me Ayla can make noise. Dad and I slept down stairs in one of the bedrooms. That was a first for us. Now I know what my kids are talking about when they say "That bed sucks"!! So we moved to the other bedroom. Much better. :) For Thanksgiving Day, we had 4 of our children home. Jason and his family (who live in Washington) had already been down 3 times this year, so they couldn't make it home and Keeley, who lives in South Carolina, was home in July. But we had the rest Andy, Jeremy, Jennifer and Heather and their families for dinner. What a house full. For weeks Andy has been saying how he can't wait for Thanksgiving Dinner. It was really good this year. As we sat around the table eating I couldn't help but feel so much love for my family. I only wish they all could have been there. We have so much to be grateful for. Jennifer went home on Sunday. The house is so quiet. I can't wait for Christmas - all the noise!!!
