Thanksgiving dinner 2009 was filled with food, fun and laughter. Jason and his family were able to come home. Jennifer and her family came up from Utah later that day. Keeley and Andrew were greatly missed. This is my dining room before the big feast. This is my dining room when everyone is here to eat.
Ardery cutting the turkey...yummy!!!!

The family is so big that the older grandkids get to eat at their own table in the front room.

After eating all that turkey, everyone had to take a nap.....but me. None stop dishes.

The first part of Nov. 8th we had a combined birthday party for Jeremy and Tessa. Tessa is playing Peek A Boo with Jeremy. It was so funny to listen to her giggle.
Tessa was not happy about her hands getting dirty.

Blowing out the birthday candle!!

Nov. 3, 2009 was Grandma Andrews 80th birthday. We had a surprise birthday party for her. Lynette and Kent came over from Boise. All the family that could be here was there. The house was full. Some friends dropped by as well. Lorliene and Kevin were out of town so they were not there.

Kent started a frosting fight with me....he lost!

This past week was an emotional rollercoaster ride for me.
My sister Linda went into the hospital Tuesday and died Thursday.
She has been dealing with Lupus for the last 10 years.
She just had her 61st birthday on the 11th of the this month. She was on 61.
To young to die. Collene and I were the last of the family to talk to her on Tuesday.
She was put into a coma with thoughts that it would help her body to heal faster.
She never came out of it. Most of my brother's and sister's were there when she died. But all
of us were there for the funeral. This was a time for some of the cousins to get caught up and have a laugh or two.
Joan was not able to be here for the funeral. She is still on her mission.
Once there was 7, now there is 6.

Peggy, myself and Penny.

I haven't figured out all there is to know about blogging. I started a post a long time ago and just finished it tonight. I posted it and couldn't find where it went! I kept going down through all of my old post and finally found it. I had no idea that it would post according to the date I first wrote it. So if you want to read it, you will have to go back quite a ways. :)
This past week my sister's and I got together for our bi-annual sleep over. This year we went to Island Park and stayed in a cabin owned by a friend of mine that comes into the deli all the time. This is a picture of the outside of the cabin.

This is the third time we have gone into Yellowstone Park. Each time we go to different parts of the park. This year we went to the grand canyon of Yellowstone Park. It was beautiful! There are two waterfalls.

This is a picture of the view looking down the side. It is a long way down.

We were there when the fire started. They say it started by lightening. The sky was so blue....where did the lightning come from?

We went to the fishing bridge. I was trying to see the fish just under the bridge.

Yellowstone Lake was beautiful. The water was not even cold.

We asked a kind man to take our picture. He didn't get a close picture...oh well.

Another picture of Yellowstone lake.

This was a smaller lake we saw on our way to Yellowstone Lake. It was so pretty and blue.

The air was so crisp and the sky so blue that the gysers really showed up.

This is Joy standing in front of the fireplace.

Bonnie was not able to go with us, so we went over to her home before we headed north. Joan is the other sister who couldn't make it this year. She and her husband, Jim, are on a mission. They will be home in December.

I am so grateful that I have 6 sister's and that we are so close. We have such a good time when we get together. Next spring we will be in Utah. Hopefully all 7 of us can make it!
